If you are someone who makes your living from woodworking, either producer, artist or trainer, you will find that the instrument will make your product much better or less time to produce, especially when making angle cutting.

One of my favorite about the Festool Kapex KS 120 is the dual laser guidance. The lasers are highly accurate and the beam will create enough projection on the cut line. They are also powered by electricity which does not require any extra batteries.

Not only the laser that is precise, the miter scale and lock as well as the handy angle transfer are undoubtedly precise. The angular scale which is made from high-quality stainless steel is incredibly accurate and easy to read. The scale also incorporates a fine adjustment knob which I find very handy.

Another strong point of this miter saw is the special design blades. The thin-kerf blade is designed to decrease the noise and vibration and also to make the motor less stressful.

When you need to replace the blade, it is also very easy to do. Using the FastFix patent technology, you can lock the trigger to prevent accidental triggering which is very dangerous. The technology also allows users to replace the blade by yourself even better with only one hand you can do it.

The best thing about this miter saw is the dust extraction to reduce cleaning up your workplace. It has an integrated port to accommodate 27mm and 26 mm hoses and can be connected to a dust extractor.

All in all, this is a great product compared to another brand like Dewalt, Makita, Bosch and another brand from China. It's a bit pricey but worth the investment.
